It is entirely possible to build a strong, lean body LIVINGmucusFREE. If you’re new here, START HERE. Diet is 80% of your success. You simply cannot exercise a bad diet.

My Story

When I started detoxing I was utterly exhausted, barely being able to exercise for five minutes at a time. I was forced to learn to honour my body. What this looked like is that for the first two years I barely exercised, other than some gentle walking and stretching.
As my body cleaned up I slowly was able to do more and increased to 10, then 15 minutes and so forth. Today I can do Kundalini yoga and deep muscle work plus walk on the same day, even when I’m fasting!

The reality is it’s been five years since I started my journey, so please be patient and honour where you are. Once the toxicity is cleared (or most of it) the body will be in rebuilding mode.

What A Rebuilding Protocol Looks Like

The foundation is a diet high in fruit. Followed by:

  • High-quality greens
  • Sprouts
  • Moringa
  • Chlorella
  • Alfalfa powder
  • Baobab powder
  • Amino acids (if necessary)
  • Some (!) fats from nuts and seeds. NB note: Depending on much you will want to build your body. Always use sparingly. Your body will guide the process.

Movement

You really only need kundalini yoga and walking to be healthy, but if you are looking to build a strong foundation and some muscle definition I highly recommend P.Volve Workouts.

I have found P.Volve to build long, lean, strong muscle that is functionally healthy and sound.

Most exercises out there are damaging to ligaments and your adrenals. Moreover, they tend to overwork your heart and deplete your body in the long run. Things like Crossfit, Barre classes etc. are too strenuous for the body plus they tend to aggravate inflammation.

The Distinctions

  • P.Volve

Deeply focuses on functional exercises and elongating muscles whilst building core stability.

  • Kundalini yoga

Effective for activating all your energy centres and allows prana (life force energy) to flow and become reactivated. There are 172 000 nadis (energy channels) in your body. Kundalini helps to open these up again.

Suggestions:

Rotate these workouts and mix in some rebounding and walking/hiking as you gain your strength back. You will notice (like I did) that you will have so much more energy available and want to move!
